Paul encourages the church in Philippi, as well as us, to press on in our faith and take hold of that for which Christ Jesus has taken hold of us. Reminding us that we are citizens of heaven, he also gives a sober warning with regards to those who have become “enemies of the Cross of Christ.” This message seeks to shed light on the various ways people can be enemies of the Cross while promoting the promise, power, and legacy of the Cross-centered Gospel for which we’ve been entrusted and charged to proclaim.
