This message reveals how Prayer has always been a part of our spiritual DNA. Our first meeting as a church was on July 5, 1987 and every Sunday for the next 9 months was essentially a prayer meeting. And prayer remains a central and vital ministry of our church. This message explores the Scriptures with regard to the importance of prayer, how Jesus modeled and taught His followers how to pray; how the Apostles practiced and exhorted us to pray; and how prayer has historically been pivotal throughout church history. In the Fall of 2008, Pastor Steve did a series of sermons titled, “Shucking Us Down To The Cob” (a.k.a. The Cob Series).
