The journey of a couple of Jesus' little-known disciples during the first Easter weekend holds several elements that the Church of today should keep in mind as we serve during "a time such as this". With an empty tomb behind them confirming all Jesus had taught about the resurrection, why would they walk away? As the noise and the anger of this world grows louder and more intense, Christians today need to be alert to what/who we are following.
