The Apostle Paul encourages each of us to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling..." (Philippians 2:12). But James, the brother of Jesus, sternly cautions believers to not make plans too hastily lest they walk outside the will of the Lord. (James 4:13-17) So, we make plans, trying to discern God's will but we invariably encounter interruptions to our plans. These interruptions cause us stress.
