“A Dream Home For Tent Dwellers”

“A Dream Home For Tent Dwellers”

Paul writes the church in Corinth what is actually his fourth letter with the goal of encouraging this flock to lift their eyes off their suffering and onto all that is to come.  It is obvious that Paul is practicing what he preaches.  Besides Paul being a bruised and battered apostle, he was also a tentmaker, and he compares our deteriorating bodies to tents, temporary housing until we reside in heaven, eventually with eternal bodies that will not ache with pain or struggle with sin’s effects.  Our message then concludes with John who gives us a revelatory virtual tour of our eventual blissful and tearless abode where there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain.
