The Word on The Word Made Flesh

The Word on The Word Made Flesh

John 1:1-3 says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made." Add in verse 14 which says: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (ESV) In times of great peril, crisis, and woe, people have a tendency to turn where help is not available rather to where it is. But Jesus, The Word Made Flesh, affirmed by His written Word, is ever the place to turn. If you are in Christ, you are in a no-lose situation: You not only have Hope in this life but eternal Hope. You not only will experience His nearness now--in good times and bad--you will bask in His joyful presence forevermore! You not only will be given reason to live in the here and now, you no longer need fear death--for as Paul said, "To live is Christ and to die is Gain!" In Christ your sins are forgiven! In Christ, all that separated you from God is removed! In Christ you are freed from your bondage to sin and your death march towards hell! In Christ you are made citizens of heaven! Do this: Turn to Jesus, The Word Made Flesh. Listen and hear Him calling you now...
