The Pandemic of Sin

In the Garden of Eden, the Serpent tempted the First Couple to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. When they succumbed to that temptation, sin entered the world. And sin became a pandemic. It's spread covered the globe and continued with every generation down through time. The test-positive for this terminal disease is rebellion against God our Maker. No one is uninfected. Every human being is a carrier. But then God sent His Son. With the pandemic of sin, there is only One Cure--His name is Jesus! Isaiah 53:3-5 affirms: "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a Man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces He was despised, and we held Him in low esteem. Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed." (ESV) The pivotal question is this: Have you been healed?
