Exodus, Chapters 35 & 36, lay out for us the details of what preceded the construction of the OT Tabernacle, also known as the Tent of Meeting. The Tabernacle would be the center of worship for God's people in the wilderness and beyond, until the time came for Solomon to build the Temple. So how did that initial Tabernacle project begin? With Moses taking up an offering. And how did the people respond? With overwhelming generosity! They gave everything from silver, gold, and precious stones to goat hair, ram skins, and tent pegs. They even willingly gave their talents, skills, and abilities. So was enough collected? The giving was so enormous that the people were ordered to stop giving! Could this be the greatest offering that was ever given or received? Actually no. The most Epic Offering there ever would be was yet to come. And Who would make it? Let's find out…
