Thank You Lord for Saving My Soul

Thank You Lord for Saving My Soul

We were born with a hideous leprosy called sin. We were the walking dead, spiritual outcasts, untouchables, with no cure in sight. "All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." And we were members of that Romans 3:23 fraternity! But then The Cure arrived. The One who would cure our incurable disease. Isaiah 53:3-5 is our Remedy: "He was despised and rejected by people, One who experienced pain and was acquainted with illness; people hid their faces from Him; He was despised, and we considered Him insignificant. But He lifted up our illnesses, He carried our pain; even though we thought He was being punished, attacked by God, and afflicted for something He had done. He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; He endured punishment that made us well; because of His wounds we have been healed." (NET) Could today be the day of your healing from sin? Better yet, could today be the day you meet the Healer, the Forgiver of sins, the One who makes whole, the One who saves, the One who gives life forevermore?
