Teaching Our Children & Grandchildren
With respect to God's Law and Yahweh's miracles performed on behalf of His beloved people, Moses instructed the children of Israel to TEACH--impress, reinforce, and call to remembrance--THESE THINGS to their children and to their children's children. Why? So they'd not forget what God had said and done and likewise so they'd place their abiding trust in Him going forward. Moses repeated these edicts over and over again for emphasis. Therefore, when we consider Christ Jesus as the fulfillment of God's Law and the Atoning Sacrifice for sinners called to salvation, what might the instructions be with regard to teaching our children, grandchildren and even our great-grandchildren about our Savior & Lord?
