No Such Thing As Too Small

When it comes to our Lord, there's no such thing as too small. God has a reputation for doing big things with small things. Who can forget Him taking a little boy's lunch and feeding thousands?! Or when He referenced small things like mustard seeds, comparing them to faith which can move mountains. Or when He likened yeast to the Kingdom of God. In Luke 21:1-4, Jesus shares about a small offering: "Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and He saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And He said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” (ESV) No one supposes this generous soul died of starvation and what a massive treasure she had awaiting her in heaven! With God, small goes a long way and humility looms large. What little thing might we put in Christ's hands? What about our small and ordinary selves? Let's do that and see what happens next!
