Living Large as Living Stones

1 Peter 2:4-5 says: "As you come to Him, a living Stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." (ESV) So yes, we are living stones. Living stones are not the Flintstones, even though growing old is ever our reality. Living stones are not the Rolling Stones nor Sly and the Family Stone nor the Stone Temple Pilots--we've actually found satisfaction, found it in Christ. We dance to the music, just differently. Read between our lines and you won't find the the big empty, you'll find the grace-full. The Living Stone, the Chief Cornerstone, is Jesus Christ and though small in ourselves, we are living large in Him. And that is worth celebrating!
