Jesus' Resurrection is Not Fake News

Jesus' Resurrection is Not Fake News

While the forensic, physical, legal, and countless other pieces of evidence concerning Jesus' resurrection is enormously compelling, for many, Jesus remains a really good dead teacher, not our risen Lord. But besides the eyewitness accounts, and no one ever producing a dead body, there's two thousand years worth of transformational testimonies--people whose lives have been impacted by a living Savior--people of all ages, cultures, nations, tribes, and people-groups. A once radical Jewish terrorist named Saul, convinced Jesus was a dead false Messiah, actually encountered the risen Christ on the road to persecute His followers. That changed everything for him personally, including his name from Saul to Paul. He writes: "Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..." (1 Corinthians 15:14a NIV) So is your Jesus alive or still in some unmarked grave in Jerusalem? Nothing matters more!
