Flawed Fathers Reflect the FATHER
Timothy Barrett, Education Professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and long time friend of Covenant Church, shared a Father's Day message with the congregation... There were a lot of great dads whose stories have been told in the Bible but, most of these, maybe with the exception of Job and the prodigal son’s father, also had some moral or character flaws that would not be considered “great.” Even so, God used them in powerful ways. Like these men, none of us is perfect, but this will not keep God from using us as well...as long as we keep our eyes and hearts focused on Him.
