CloseThe Words in the Bible are more than a collection of old stories and good advice. They are the very Words our Sovereign Lord has given to us so that we may more thoroughly know and serve Him. But did you know that God has more than one book? Theologians distinguish between special revelation (the light in God's Word) and general revelation (the light of nature). Paul in Romans 1 says that "His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made." Do we spend enough time getting to know the Almighty through both of His books? Or does the noise of the world cause us to ignore the command to "Be still and know that I am God"?
