This is the Messiah, the Righteous One, the One who bore our sin, died in our place, rose from the dead, ascended on high, sent His Holy Spirit to dwell within us, Him who rules & reigns from that very throne, prays for us unworthy ones, and has promised to return to raise the dead and consummate His Kingdom.

On the Sunday before Passover, Jesus rode into Jerusalem to waving palm branches and a chorus of different sounds–shouts of Hosanna, Messianic declarations, angry murmurs by Jewish leaders, the braying of His donkey, and the bleating of lambs that soon will be sacrificed. But our Lord knows He is the True Passover Lamb who comes to take away the sins of the world.
