Psalm 100 gives us a password for entering into the presence of the Lord and it’s no secret. Verse 4 says: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!” (ESV) Thanksgiving in our hearts is music to our Lord’s ears!

Thanksgiving is obviously more than a holiday according to the Scriptures. It’s an attitude of the heart that is meant to transcend circumstances- trumping anxiety, worry, dread, and other such thieves of joy and peace.
