Summary

If we were honest with each other, most of us have asked, at times, “What in the world is God up to? Why does He allow some events to happen, and He doesn’t act to prevent things that seem to make no good sense?” The Apostle Paul expressed some of these concerns in his letter to the believers in Rome. But, instead of becoming discouraged or even angry at the Almighty, Paul expresses positive trust in God’s majesty, mystery, and goodness, stating Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!” (Romans 11:33, ESV) What can believers learn about God’s character as they explore His attributes related to these kinds of questions? In this message, we will learn more about why Paul could confidently state “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, ESV)
